- Measured area: floor size, steps, vertical edges and other included surfaces.
- Existing surface: bare concrete, old sealer, paint or a failed coating that needs removal.
- Repairs: cracks, pits and damaged areas that need treatment before coating.
- Moisture conditions: testing and any suitable treatment specified for the slab.
- Finish: basecoat, decorative broadcast, topcoat and desired texture.
- Access and travel: site access, regional scheduling and the scope of the project.

Compare what is included: preparation method, products, coverage, repair allowances, cure times and written warranty terms. An attractive headline price is only helpful when the scope is clear.
